Welcome to the newly redesigned Kropmark Design website! The last design revision of our website was in 2012, so we were past due for a fresh look. The new website is now fully responsive with more up-to-date features such as parallax and CSS animations. We hope you enjoy it.

At Kropmark Design, we like to talk about the power of Cascading Style Sheets in regards to how a website looks. Our new website is an excellent example of CSS capability. When we investigated what the upgrade to our WordPress theme was going to look like, we noticed that it was significantly different from our previous 2012 design deployment. Our upgrade was going to require not just a design tweak, but a major overhaul.

We decided to completely restyle our base theme in order to get the look that we were going for. It’s not always possible to make what you visualize into a reality, as the site architecture can be a limiting factor. But in this case, we were able to entirely change the theme from a top navigation, fixed width format to a side navigation, full width design only with CSS.

When you compare this website to our existing website, you can see that the capabilities of visual change by using CSS are significant. By using WordPress as our content management system, we were able to upgrade our website without losing any data. By rewrapping our website upgrade with new styling, we were able to completely modify the look.

We highly recommend that all of our clients use a CMS to add power and security to their websites.
